Smet Jet offers industrial cleaning and many other specialised services aimed at the industrial sector. In Belgium, the company operates from five branches, serving the whole country. Smet Jet is a reference company in its field and is well-known as an excellent employer.
Recruiting the right employees
In a tight job market, finding the right staff members is not an easy task. Smet Jet asked us to develop a concept that would enable the company to enhance its image as an employer. After all, a compelling employer branding is an important asset in the war for talent.
Join the Smet Jet Force
Brandle developed a bold employer branding concept based on the idea of the ‘Smet Jet Force’, which emphasises the pure power of a team. If you work at Smet Jet, you are part of a team of strong colleagues, proud of their work and willing to go the extra mile for each other.
To reinforce the concept with eye-catching images, we made a series of distinctive portraits of Smet Jet employees and striking mood images in everyday working situations. Combined with the slogan ‘Join the Smet Jet Force’ and the signature SJF-logo, the images are a direct call-to-action to join the Smet Jet team.
The key to job fulfillment
Taking the familiar shape of a shield, the SJF-logo lends itself perfectly to be used as a keychain. Made to measure, it was used as a gift for Smet Jet employees.
The Smet Jet Force on the streets
One of the spearheads in Smet Jet’s recruiting process is the recurring Job Day. With king size posters, larger-then-life images on the Smet Jet trucks and dedicated stickers on the cars, the Job Day was strikingly present on the streets.
The Smet Jet Force on social media
A strong visual concept like the Smet Jet Force is highly suited to communication through social media. Brandle designed ads for Facebook and Instagram and developed an ingenious campaign that lasted four weeks. Apart from the necessary registrations for the Job Day, the campaign also generated plenty of nice reactions.
Website for the Job Day
Along with the campaign on social media, Brandle also developed a stand-alone landing page for the Smet Jet Force. Primarily intended as a launching pad for Job Day registrations, the page also formed an excellent starting point for new employer branding campaigns.
Effective employer branding
Compared to the previous Job Day, which took place before the creation of the Smet Jet Force campaign, the number of registrations went up by 250%. The conclusion is obvious: a striking employer branding campaign, meticulously tailored to the target audience, is an excellent way to garner interest in potential candidates.
