A DAM (Digital Asset Management) system helps companies working with retailers by centrally managing and sharing all digital brand and product assets. Retailers gain access to a single platform containing current and approved product images, packshots, videos, datasheets, and marketing materials. This prevents outdated or incorrect content from circulating.

Thanks to targeted access rights, retailers can view only the files relevant to them, for example, by market, language, or campaign. Updates are implemented centrally, ensuring that all partners automatically work with the latest versions. This ensures a consistent brand presentation, faster collaboration, and more efficient content distribution to retail channels.

A DAM (Digital Asset Management) system is designed to centrally manage all of an organization's digital files. In a DAM system, you can store, organize, and share various types of assets, each with metadata, permissions, and versions.

The most common files in a DAM system are images, such as photos (JPG, PNG, TIFF), logos (SVG, EPS, AI), and visuals for marketing and branding. Videos (MP4, MOV) and animations (GIF, motion files) are also often managed via a DAM system, particularly for use in campaigns and social media.

Additionally, you can store documents such as PDFs, presentations, brochures, brand guidelines, and sales materials. Audio files (MP3, WAV), for example for podcasts, radio, or video, can also be managed via a DAM system. Filepoint, Brandle's in-house developed DAM system, also supports InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator files.
